Hat sizes are based on industry standards.
M= Size 6 3/4 - 7 1/8 L = Size 7 1/4 - 7 5/8
To determine your hat size, use a tape measure and measure the widest part of the head, above the eyebrows and ears. Heads measuring 21 1/8 inches - 22 1/4 inches will fit size medium. Heads measuring 22 5/8 inches to 23 7/8 inches will fit size large.
